I trained here for 10 years when I was a kid from 8 to 18, and continued to training till I was in my late 30s. EVERYTHING  I learned here helped me to be a better person in life; from mental discipline to being able to defend myself. It was the best times of my life training here. I started when I was 7 years old. Sensei Hioki just opened up his dojo. I stop going when I was 13, do to moving out of state. In that 6 years, I learned so much. Not only in defense, but also how to handle & control my mind & life situation. Be responsible & make human kind choices. So happy to hear sensei dojo is still around.
